Der Hondafahrer war mit einer solchen „sehr hohen Geschwindigkeit“ unterwegs, seine Reaktionszeit reichte nicht, um diesen Unfall zu vermeiden. Die schwedische Polizei schätzt eine Geschwindigkeit von 250 km/h, bevor das Motorrad auf einer Kreuzung seitlich in das langsam fahrende Auto raste. Bei dieser Geschwindigkeit vermuteten sie, dass die Reaktionszeit des Hondafahrers (als das Auto auftauchte) nicht einmal ausreichte, um die Bremsen zu betätigen. Das Auto hatte zwei Insassen und der Motorradfahrer wurde mit ihnen IM Auto gefunden. Der VW überschlug sich durch die Wucht des Aufpralls und landete 10 Meter entfernt von der Stelle der Kollision.

Swedish Police estimate a speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) before the bike hit the slow moving car side-on at an intersection. At that speed, they predicted that the rider's reaction time (once the vehicle came into view) wasn't sufficient enough for him to even apply the brakes. The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 10 feet from where the collision took place
Alle drei in diesen Unfall verwickelten (zwei im Auto und der Motorradfahrer) waren auf der Stelle tot. Diese Unfallfahrzeuge wurde an der Stockholm Motorcycle Fair von der schwedischen Polizei und dem Straßenverkehrsamt ausgestellt. Das Zeichen über der Anzeige sagt auch, dass der Motorradfahrer erst vor kurzem seinen Führerschein bekommen hatte.

All three involved (two in the car and the rider) were killed instantly. This graphic demonstration was placed at the Stockholm Motorcycle Fair by the Swedish Police and Road Safety Department. The sign above the display also noted that the rider had only recently obtained his license.

Bei 250 km/h legt man rund 70 Meter pro Sekunde zurück. Mit normaler Reaktionszeit zum SEHEN – ENTSCHEIDEN – REAGIEREN von 1,6 Sekunden hätte man 112 Meter zurückgelegt, während man entscheidet, was zu tun ist. Die schwedische Polizei vermutet, dass in diesem Fall keine Reaktion erfolgte.

At 250 km/h (155 mph) the operator is travelling at 227 feet per second. With normal reaction time to SEE-DECIDE-REACT of 1.6 seconds the above operator would have travelled over 363 feet while making a decision on what actions to take. In this incident the Swedish police indicate that no actions were taken.
