Nachdem Juan Pablo Montoya endlich gefeuert wurde, mußte der Testfahrer Pedro de la Rosa einspringen.
After Juan Pablo Montoya was finally fired, the test driver Pedro de la Rosa had to substitute.

Leider wurde Kimi wieder nur fünfter. Pedro wurde siebter.
Unfortunately Kimi finished only fifth again. Pedro finished seventh.

Up to the 119th minute everything looked like penalty shootout.
Doch dann ...
But then ...
Die deutsche Mannschaft gibt alles, geht nach vorne, um in der letzten Minute noch den Ausgleich zu erzielen, aber ...
The German crew gives everything, goes forward, in order to obtain the reconciliation in the last minute but ...
Der Traum vom Titel ist aus!!!
The dream of the title is out!!!
Doch am Samstag werden wir im kleinen Finale noch einmal alles geben!!!
But on Saturday we will give everything in the small final again!!!

Nachdem im letzten Jahr die Michelin-Teams wegen falscher Reifen nicht gestartet waren, sah es diesmal nach einem richtigen Rennen aus.
After the Michelin teams were not started in the last year because of wrong tires, it looked like a great race this time!
Aber Kimi war in den großen Unfall in der zweiten Kurve verwickelt ...
But Kimi was involved in the big crash in the second corner ...
